What is XGA, SXGA, and UXGA? SXGA Resolution:SXGA refers to a monitor resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixel display, regardless of the number of colors available. This is the next highest resolution above XGA. What makes SXGA unusual is that its standard ratio is 5:4, while VGA, SVGA, XGA, and UXGA are all the traditional 4:3 ratio found on computer monitors.
